Suburb De Luxe At Sagaponac
The promoter of a new residential development on Long Island, NY, says his project is "unique for the Hamptons, or anywhere for that matter". Judging from the stellar list of architects providing home designs for The Houses at Sagaponac, it appears to be true. The list includes well-known architects Philip Johnson, Michael Graves, and James Ingo Freed, as well as Sam Mockbee, only the third architect to be awarded the MacArthur "genius" grant. Thirty-four 2,000 to 4,500 sq. ft. homes will be built in the new community which will include a 13-acre recreational preserve landscaped by Stephen Stimson.
