Industrial fabrication methods continue to inspire designers. Light as a feather is a pendant lamp with a shade created using laser cut stainless steel sheet. Typically, the design is created with CAD, computer aided design software, and then loaded into a laser cutting machine. Press a button and voila. It’s the 3D elements of this design that make this lamp special. Satelight also makes Social, a backlit fluorescent wall light with adjustable metal front panels in the shape of people.
