Paris based industrial designer Arik Levy has grown to be one of the most recognisable young designers around and I believe he deserves that popularity. His work is a perfect balance of innovation, material research and aesthetic sensibility. His Handshake lamp, inspired by a hand muff, was first introduced in a larger limited edition but later scaled down in size for mass manufacturing runs at an affordable price. GP
