We started off by storm-trooping the beach with French artist Marc Molk whose collages and works of paper are intriguingly quirky.
James Roper’s sculptural installations were also able to draw us in, especially knowing that Roper created 10 000 origami flowers over a three-year period.
The epoxy polymer she works with may be on the dangerous side, but Klari Reis makes good use of it in her colourful paintings of molecular forms, all named after prescription drugs.
Joseph Pendergast brought us organic forms of foliage and flora through a mix of techniques.
The horizon is a constant in the abstract paintings of Rebecca Bennett, as is her use of strong colours.
And Todd White leads us into the weekend with some refreshments. SM
