+ 8AM is a streamlined task lamp that is about as simple as it comes: braided electric wire that relies on its aluminum clamp to be powered on and off. The clamp is used also to adjust light levels. Note that 8AM, by Joseph Graceffa and Dario Buzzini, has been released as a concept only, albeit launched at Salone.

+ The Lund sofa is a new piece from the Dot Kite Lab that mixes luxury with a contemporary vibe that can come in fabric or leather with chrome. Simple and elegant.

+ From the aisle to your home, the functional airplane trolley is transformed by Stephan Boltz into Bordbar, a rolling cabinet that can be used as minibar, office unit or whatever storage system is needed.

+ Stephen Proctor was winner of the Design Report newcomer’s prize this year in Milan. Proctor’s kids’ products, like the pictured pram, were what easily convinced the jury. Via kidsmodern.

Stephen Proctor's design: the kid looks like she's smiling, but she seems not quite comfortable?

These are some beautiful pieces of design! I love Stephen Proctor's work as it not only has a very strong design element to it, but also has managed to retain the functionality which is so essential in a piece designed for children.

i find the + 8AM lamp quite unique through it's minimalistic style...
..i would surely work much more happier at my desk with this lamp...;)
