Prêt-à-Thonet
by Luis / August 10, 2007

I just got these images of Argentinean sculptor and designer Pablo Reinoso's works for the Thoneteando / Prêt-à-Thonet shows. It's a collection of wearable objects and sculptures using old Thonet Chairs, every one an amazing work made of bent wood. LA

Hi Luis,

This is a great post!

I love it as Thonet Afficianado, but didn't you mix it up a bit?

The photos you show are of the Thoneteando series. Only a few of the "sculptures" were used at the catwalk.

I fleshed it out a bit in three posts at Chair Blog
