The Designers Block exhibition in Milan took place just outside the Zona Tortona in the Navigli neighbourhood’s local outdoor swimming pool. A variety of tents dotted the venue and housed the wares of designers such as Alice Rosignoli, James Van Vossel and Private Circle. There were wallcoverings by Ninette Van Kamp and Rebecca Otero, Bannerina’s mesh lamps and paper coats by Francesca Signori, not to mention a pretty drain by Joana Meroz and a chair based on sound from Matthew Plummer-Fernandez (when the sound is graphed three-dimensionally, the resulting shape forms the chair).
