Tent London was the anchor event in London's East End during the London Design Festival. Held at Brick Lane's Truman Brewery, Tent featured a varied group of emerging designers in a relaxed setting. Although many of the designers hailed from the U.K., there was work from all over Europe, Japan and Korea as well. Some pieces that stood out were the Wannabe table from Pulpo, the Shell table from Scene and the Scroll Table by Nobody & Co.. Hey, there's Philip Wood from Citizen:Citizen being interviewed on DeTank TV! The Fiberglass Zilla chair and footstool from Diplomat was a show-stealer, while the Inflatable paper cushion from Francesca Signori was a more subtle tease. The Eco-Cooler from DeWeNe is a suitable fit for any kitchen: fill the bottom tray with cold water and keep the root veg inside below room temperature while the fruit on top stay slightly cool. Great mini-larder.
