Josef Blersch and Mander Liefting make up Eindhoven-based design bureau Snodevormgevers, loosely translated as sly designers, whose Tree Trunk series was designed for the Stuffed exhibition held during Dutch Design Week. The collection includes a liquor cabinet, stools and a fireplace (shown above), all made out of steel plate. The steel is shaped into the tree trunk form by folding, so each item has a unique shape. Snodevormgevers produces the stools and cabinets in their workshop, but are currently looking for partnership to develop the fireplace.
