Toronto's IDS 09 featured 5X5, five inspired spaces designed by a broad range of design teams, Castor (one of our Canadian eh faves) was one. In true north fashion Castor Design's Winnebago was outfitted with all the bells and whistles: patio lanterns, webbed lawn chairs, astro-turf and a white picket fence and band at one point, while the interior was classic haute rec room.

This home sweet home will be used as an annex lounge when needed, to Castor's Toronto restaurant Oddfellows, or for special occasions when a mobile meal is required.

Says Castor's Brian Richer, "The idea for us was not to make a booth that we would throw out. We wanted to do something we could use after."

"It will be parked out back of Oddfellows and people will be able to rent it as a private dining lounge. We are also planning to do shows with it at Ministry of the Interior and with Matter in NY - just have some fun show product and cook grill cheese sandwiches".
