The day started off in high style at Il Salone with three showstoppers: Kartell, Edra (above) and Moroso. The fair feels less busy than last year and this was confirmed by the relatively short wait for my lunch panino. Six hours later when I was sure my feet could not possibly feel worse, a large man stepped on one. This was followed by the sighting of the unexpected Barbie stand! But all this was erased by a chat with the lovely Tord Boontje at Bisazza where two tiled commodes and a table were presented. Other highlights of the day included a Gaetano Pesce sofa at Meritalia, Front's Moment collection at Moroso and Karim Rashid in just the right spot.

Have you notice that the first picture looks like a really big hamburger? Double meat with salad. Yeah
I was interested to see the table by Tord for Moroso. I've seen it in a sneak peek they sent me. But was disappointed that it was made from pressed plywood. It looks like something I could make myself. But I do like Moroso's feminine look these days.
All of this is just bad.
