Metallics made a good showing at the Mint Escapes exhibition, especially in terms of accessories. In Lisa Stockham's work, Fool's Gold and We Want More, symbols of modern-day technology are integral components of decorative arts. Pixels and computer keys dissolve into excess in these glazed earthenware pieces as Stockham highlights the inescapable and continuous motion of our world. Also shown after the jump is another series of metallic vases by Marie Retpen from the exhibition.
