Labware Lamps by Benjamin Hubert
by Jaime / October 6, 2009

Benjamin Hubert launched a variety of new pieces at 100% Design last month, including the Labware series of blown glass lamps (above). The three white glass shapes used for the collection are inspired by traditional laboratory beakers, but are heftier than most and are plugged with Portuguese cork. The hanging lamps join the Labware floor lights from last year. Hubert also showed Float, a series of lamps with cork shades; the concrete Heavy Desk Light; and Pebble, a roto-moulded chair, among other pieces.

The float lights are great! I really like the scale, they'd be great in a cathedralled space
