We're sporting a new look today, after six years with virtually the same clothes, and a minor makeover in 2005, we've now converted all of MoCo Loco - Design, Art and Fresh - to our new look. In fact, the home page is now a mash-up of Design, Art and Fresh.

It's not just a new look, we've added some new features; you can now read MoCo "magazine style" horizontally and scroll through the page with the arrow keys on your keyboard (left & right arrows for the horizontal view and up & down arrows for the vertical view).

If horizontal is not your style, you can change to vertical by clicking on

the "Switch layout" button at the top of the page.

You can now also "Like" posts by clicking on the colored circles in the top right hand corners (ex. if you like the redesign, click on the orange circle in the top right of this page) and,

...comment using Twitter and Facebook.
There's more to come, in the meantime we'd like to get your feedback. We already know that things are a bit wonky in IE7, Fresh is best viewed in Firefox (and re: IE6, we were inspired by free the web).
If you have a moment we would appreciate a word if something isn't quite right or if there's something we forgot to add or change. Please leave a comment here.

I really HATE your new style. Sure, it does look good, but it is way to difficult to find the new stuff. I doubt I will take the time to use it anymore. Your old style, while not quite as pretty, was infinitely more useful as it was so simple to scroll through what was new. Why oh why did you change it?
Dear Harry & Co,
CONGRATULATIONS for the new lay out!!
FRESH, inspired......
THE best gift you could offer to all of us...// your avid readers!
WARM REGARDS

Bill, all the new stuff is on the home page as before at mocoloco.com (that hasn't changed), except that now there's a lot more new stuff. We're still working on making it easier to use and navigate, there's more to come. Glad at least you find it pretty. ;)
Ευχαριστώ Costas!
Dear Mr.Bill Noble,
Allow me to share with you one of my favorite quotes!

Thank you

I like the new changes you've made, but switching between the horizontal homepage and the vertical articles is problematic. You either need to waste space filling the screen with the browser window, or change it's size to fit the article.
I think the vertical layout should be the default one
I like it. It's a long due change. And it's brilliant!
Few comments:
1. I like having the menu permanent on the side. That should help the traffic to Fresh Moco and Moco Art, two amazing blogs.
2. I like the wider right column. Content breathes more.
3. I would remove the gray margin (with "text size"). I understand it makes the whole thing breath, but it removes 1/12 of the interface for me. It would make the scroll easier.
Cheers, congrats again!
Really unfriendly navigation...totally confusing and difficult to read...
Congratulations! Very happy to have been part of this. Can't wait for the profiles ;) Cheers!
the "switch layout" button always brings me back to Harry's intro on the new style- NOT to a vertical format of the site. Bad link..
I'd put the switch layout button with the navigation arrows in the left column.
Willing to go through the growing pains while the bugs are worked out with some the navigation implementations. Do like the direction the overall redesign is taking.
Only question at the moment: Will the "Links" label be making a come back?
Again, thank you for the innovation shown to date, in this new web redesign.

Fantastic. Love the horizontal layout. Just a bit disappointed that when you click on a link the story then is vertical again. But don't stop. It's really good.

I hate the updated site.... Two thumbs down. Not intuitive to navigate, and it looks terrible when you switch it to scroll down.
Really good job with the update, that's why it went right to the http://CSSline.com featured spot!
The new layout has a magazine feel to it which is pretty cool, but I think I like the old version better. It was more easy to navigate but maybe it just takes some time to adjust!
