A fair bit of student work from industrial design students at Tokyo Metropolitan University was shown at Container Ground during Tokyo Designers Week, especially projects done by students of Toshihiko Suzuki.

Expand Sofa - Miyuki Aoki

Inoue Souta, Maiko Suzuki and Takahashi Yuki created lighting and blinds by using traditional Japanese craft materials. Store Muu Design's focus was on a Green Drawer, and Yuki Takahashi built a wall out of chairs. Shown above is the Expand Sofa by Miyuki Aoki.
