The Spaziale Series by Studio Wai & Lanzavecchia is rigid furniture that takes on curves when covered in a stretchy, fabric skin.

The Spaziale Series is a winner of the Time to Design new talent award developed by The National Workshops for Arts and Crafts, Normann Copenhagen and Link UP to provide opportunity for young designers to further their skills and talent.

Shelf
If you tire of a red shelf, replace the cover with a blue one.

Chair
The chair can be used as a sanctuary for one or two, or transformed from private to public by wrapping the textile cover.

Commode
The commode swallows items through a hole in the top and releases them by way of a knot in the fabric on the front.

Studio Wai & Lanzavecchia is made up of Hunn Wai and Francesca Lanzavecchia.

Is there any reason why there aren't any actual images of the pieces as a whole? I mean I get a gist from this that they don't make much logical sense but still, this could be further proven with better blog image selection?
Good question. I'll look into it and reply here (hopefully shortly).
