Historical chests are the inspiration for blasted relief spruce wood used by Kai Linke in new projects that will be shown at IMM Cologne.

Subtle scenes of nature in relief can be made out on pale wooden trunks, wardrobes, shelving and lighting from the Blasted Familii.

The separate elements form a complete image when placed in sequence.

The Blasted lighting can be used as a floor lamp or a pendant.

Linke will be exhibiting along with Reinhard Dienes, who will show the Friday lamp that can be used as a table lamp or a pendant.

Flexibility continues to be a theme in Dienes' Tonic sideboard/bookcase. When the oak shelving is used horizontally, it works as a sideboard. Vertically, it becomes a bookshelf, transformed by changing the position of the legs.
