With a powered countertop, operating small kitchen appliances will become a thing of pleasure, not a chore. Different devices from various companies can share a single power source for little fuss or muss. The new applications for Fulton Innovation's eCoupled technology were presented at CES 2010 in Las Vegas.

While in the workshop, recharge your tools with the lid of your toolbox.

The eCoupled system transfers power from a supply coil to a receiving coil through a shared electromagnetic field. The transfer is safe and wireless. Any device within range can be charged if compatible with the technology.

Imagine your car as a wireless environment where cup holders and compartments are powered to charge your gadgets conveniently without wires or bulky chargers.

Items such as GPS, phones, dvd players and laptops can be charged as you drive, simply by placing them on powered surfaces.

The need for cords is eliminated because eCoupled technology creates an electromagnetic conduit combined with an intelligent control system that monitors the flow.
