Ten Small Atlases with Anke Weiss, Raw-Edges & Pieke Bergmans
by Jaime / April 26, 2010

In thoughtful contrast to the lavish displays found in Zona Tortona, Ten Small Atlases was an exhibition that choose to focus on both process and dialogue. The show presented work from the 10 designers who have taken part in the annual IN Residence workshops held in Torino. Each participant not only showcased finished objects, but also the sketches, images and writings that inspired their creation.

Pieke Bergmans played with the boundaries of forms and their contents with her new glass water carafes, which were fluid expressions of a once liquid material.
