In thoughtful contrast to the lavish displays found in Zona Tortona, Ten Small Atlases was an exhibition that choose to focus on both process and dialogue. The show presented work from the 10 designers who have taken part in the annual IN Residence workshops held in Torino. Each participant not only showcased finished objects, but also the sketches, images and writings that inspired their creation.

Anke Weiss presented a new version of Bonsai, an impressive structure constructed from one hundred fifty bonsai tree trunks, cut and assembled by hand.

Raw-Edges, a London based studio, shared Coiling - a seat made from rolled wool felt strips covered in acrylic resin for strength.

Pieke Bergmans played with the boundaries of forms and their contents with her new glass water carafes, which were fluid expressions of a once liquid material.
