A playful pinwheel rug by Chevalier-Masson smacks of tradition, reminiscent of the chunky rag rugs of old (that are still around today, of course).

What was particularly eye-catching about the Chevalier-Masson contribution to the 101% Designed in Brussels exhibition in Zona Tortona during Milan's Design Week were the various pie shapes.

Tapa is a flat cushion not unlike a small carpet. Made of industrial waste such as waste from Louis Vuitton and Kenzo scarves, Tapa's two sides have different finishes: a chiné finish on one side and a plain wool finish on the other.

These 100% wool rugs are woven with leftover bits of yarn, so each one will have a unique pattern.

Also shown by Chevalier-Masson was an assortment of wool-covered inflatable balls. Blowing is a decorative piece with a removable cover that can be cleaned or changed. The ball can be replaced as well, if need be.
