Once Upon A Playground by Brenda Biondo
The metal has been replaced by plastic, and wood chips have taken the place of sand. Kids still get hurt (and have fun doing it), while old school playgrounds are disappearing from our landscape. Brenda Biondo tries to captures as many as she can, pockmarked by years of play. Biondo frames her photos of vintage playgrounds in order to bring out the most sculptural aspects of the structures of our childhoods.
