Axor Bathroom Collection by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec
A new bathroom fixtures collection with more than 85 items designed by the Bouroullec brothers features this innovative washbasin combination above - with a faucet and spout built into a wall-mounted shelf.
A washbasin with three terraced levels breaks up the monotony of traditional basins. A side-view mirror is inspired by automotive design.
Bottom right: faucet knobs are integrated into the side of the basin counter.
Instead of reaching over the top of the basin to reach the faucet, a simple handle shaped control is placed in the front.
The "terraced topology" is applied to the shower fixtures.
... and the bath.
The Axor Bouroullec collection will be available in the US late in 2011.
